I'm not sure if anyone will actually read this post but that's okay! I have been pretty absent on my blog here the past few months as I didn't really know what I was doing or how to move on to different content for my posts. Winters here are long and I haven't had a chance to do many DIY projects or decorating since going back to work after my maternity leave.
BUT I am making a resolution to myself to actually put some effort into the blog this year. I am so inspired and idolize so many bloggers that I follow, I always say to myself I wish my home was that nice, or I wish I was beautiful or I wish I could take pretty pictures. But now I am saying why not me! I can do all those things if I try to put the effort in!
One of the biggest things I have done for myself for this year is joining Stella and Dot! As a busy mother and ER nurse, I wanted to create a lifestyle for myself that was productive and family centered but also incorporated some ME time. I came across Stella from a friend and it offered the best of all worlds! A hobby for myself that would assist in further my blogging know how, help me feel good about myself, and make a little income while indulging in my guilty shopping habits!
I am loving it so far. I am working on a flexible basis from home and only working part time at the hospital. Being home with my son is the most important to me, and so far this has worked out very well! I have made double what I had set out for my 6months goal, in only 1 month! and it is so much fun!
